The answer to the title’s question is YES. It is a problem which the whole Earth is facing. Covid-19 has imprisoned people and forced them to stay in their homes and if which is a big if they have to get out of their houses they’ll have to follow the standard operating procedures which to us, I’m beyond sure are on our fingertips, but for those who don’t know what they are:

When you switch to the news channel and see the number of daily cases and deaths you get a sad feeling inside you even if you’re one of the strongest persons in your family but if you’re a sensitive person there’s a chance that you might get stressed out by all the tragic deaths worldwide.
I myself am a person who acts to be strong but is not in reality. I get emotional when I look at the deaths and the interviews of families who lost their loved ones to this deadly virus.
We must help each other in not losing hope and in having a positive outlook during these cold times.
If you are asking the question for what stress has got to do with this pandemic then read on.
1. Family:

YES family . We in our normal days are not used to spending time with our families. We isolate ourselves in our rooms when we get back from work, school, college etc and don’t usually see each other but covid has brought us together and has made us bear each other.
For me it was hard in the beginning but now it’s not because I’ve learnt patience .
Patience is a very important virtue. I was used to talking back at people because nowadays if you’re not used to it people bully you so you have to do it. But family is a big exception.
So learn patience.
2. Online classes:

Oh my god. This is the worst of all. I still hate online classes but have gotten used to them. How? I think because the motivation to learn kept me going. And responsibility ofcourse. When we had physical classes teachers would force us to learn. We would have tests and quizzes. To get good grades in them mattered. But for online classes that’s not very important. Our honesty is being tested. It’s upto us whether we decide to cheat or not.
So where’s the stress in this whole paragraph? Yeah I’m getting to that. I started getting stressed out because for me online classes are not suitable for understanding a topic. I don’t quite understand for what the teacher is saying or well zone out A LOT and I was getting behind the syllabus by a lot. That was stressing me out. I was getting irritated because I would have a test coming up and I wouldn’t even know the ABC of that particular topic. For that I took a self analysis of myself that what am I doing wrong, why am I not being able to understand anything.
I found out the reason which was the blame game. I would blame the online classes and the system itself but not myself not even once and when I did start to blame myself that’s when I started to see improvement in my outlook and my studies overall.
3. Weight:

This has bothered me a lot. I was following no particular routine be it my diet or my whole day routine. This lead to weight gain. I don’t gain a lot of weight, it’s genetic, but I do gain 2 kgs if I eat a lot. But a lot of people have been suffering from weight gain and that is because of being stuck indoors with no physical activity at all.
For this you’ll have to be active. You’ll have to make a routine. Try checking out some websites regarding indoor exercises. They help a lot. And control your diet. Pamper yourself. Not in the pizza or burger sense but in the smoothie or salad sense.
By that you’ll feel fresh and won’t feel stressed out at all
Closing note:
The main thing of coping with stress is spending time with your family, calling your friends, staying away from negativity, motivating yourself and finding yourself a hobby ( mine’s drawing ). These things have helped me I hope they’ll be of some help for you.
This is no professional advice.
If you have severe symptoms of stress then kindly consult a doctor.
